FAQ 3: How durable are lab-grown diamonds? Will they fade or deteriorate?
Q: Are lab-grown diamonds durable? Will they fade, turn yellow, or become unstable over time?
A: Please rest assured completely. Lab-grown diamonds have eternal durability and will never fade or deteriorate.
Eternal stability: Since they have exactly the same chemical and physical structure as natural diamonds, they also have exactly the same extremely high stability and wear resistance. Diamond is the hardest substance in nature, which means it can hardly be scratched by any substance (the main component of dust in daily wear is quartz, with a hardness of 7, far lower than that of diamond at 10) and can withstand all collisions in daily life.
No fading or yellowing: The color of a colorless lab-grown diamond (whether it is D color or J color) is permanent, originating from its crystal structure itself and will not change due to wearing, contact with chemicals (such as shampoo, perfume), or long-term exposure to sunlight. It will always maintain the color grade it had when purchased.
Suggestions for daily wear: You can wear it confidently every day. It is recommended to avoid severe impacts (although diamonds have high hardness, they are brittle, and a violent impact at a specific angle may cause chipping), and clean it regularly (using mild soapy water and a soft brush is sufficient) to maintain its brilliant fire.
